winter shopping Texas style

Zoë has been happily squeezing into her size 18-24 month yoga pants we bought at Target for a whole year now. But she's a whopping size 2T now so, even though the pants fit fine in the waist and bum (thank goodness she's finished with cloth diapers), they are terribly short around the ankles. She doesn't seem to understand the high-water jokes people are starting to make and insists on wearing them underneath her summer dresses. That may sound cute but it's not. So mommy broke down and hocked some of my own prize possessions online to garner the cash to buy her some new duds for the seasonal cold snap we have here in Texas. This is what we ended up with:

and, since I'm a total shirt snob (the pants are so plain that we need some bling up top), I also got
  • these tops from Girl Charlee during their 20% off sale (going on now till Friday). Girl Charlee has adorable clothes made from vintage and vintage-inspired fabrics that I absolutely love. The quality is great as the items I've bought so far are still in great condition, and we get compliments everywhere we go!

  • this beauty of a halter from Kate Quinn Organics. I thought it'd be cute over a long sleeve T and I've been coveting KQO... f o r e v e r
  • and this shirt from trendy tadpole using their 30% off coupon code (it's expired, by they are offering 40% off today. You can also enter to win a free shirt if you enter on their blog by this Friday.)

And that's Zoë's entire winter wardrobe right there. Probably the only other things we'll need are some socks, tights and Baby Legs and that's it. I'm done!
